On Tuesday 21st May the year 3 and 4 girls football team took part in the second leg of their cluster league. They all played really well eventually finishing first overall. Congratulations girls!

On Tuesday 14th May the year 3 and 4 girls football team took part in the first leg of their cluster league. After losing their first game they went on to draw one game and win the other two games, putting them in a good position for the next set of games.

On Tuesday 7th May the year 3 and 4 boys football team completed their cluster league finishing fourth overall.

Over the last 16 months staff from Early Years have been working with 8 families supporting them with early literacy skills as part of the REAL project.  This project has now come to an end so on Friday 5th April we had our celebration event, a trip to the Lowry theatre to watch a performance … Read more

On Thursday 4th April the year 5 and 6 tag rugby team took part in their cluster league finals! They played extremely well winning their first 4 games and then drawing the last. Having remained unbeaten through the heats and the finals they were awarded first place! Well done and keep it up!!!

On Tuesday 2nd April the year 5 and 6 volleyball team attended a cluster competition along with 8 other teams. The team played excellently winning all eight of their matches finishing 1 overall. Congratulations!

Also on Tuesday 19th March (following on from the 12th) the year 5 and 6 tag rugby team took part in their cluster league. On Tuesday 19th March the KS1 gymnastics team and the Year 5 and 6 hockey team took part in the Manchester Games. On the 30th January, Broadfield School Gymnasts in Year 1/2 and Year 3/4 took part in the Oldham School Games Gymnastics Competition, held at Eclipse Gymnastics Club.
