Lest We Forget – Remembrance Day

Larch Beech and WIllow visited the Cenotaph in Oldham on Remembrance Day. They took part in a two-minute silence to remember heroes who fought in the wars and are still fighting today.  Each class made a wreath of poppies and they lay them on the cenotaph so everyone knew that the children in Broadfield Primary school will never forget those who have lost their lives.  Afterwards we met a real-life Soldier who told us all about his job in the Royal Engineers. The teachers were very proud of all of our children and would like to thank the Parent Ambassadors who joined us on the visit.
