Year 3 and 4 indoor athletics

On Tuesday 17th December the year 3 and 4 indoor athletics team to part in a competition at Hathershaw College. They out performed every other school claiming 1st place! Well done!

Year 5 and 6 indoor athletics final

On Tuesday 10th December the year 5 and 6 indoor athletics team to part in the finals of the athletics competition at Hathershaw College. They performed brilliantly and finished in 2nd place. Well done!

Dance competition

On Monday 25th November a group of year 5 and 6’s visited the Islamic Centre to take part in a dance competition. Spotty bake off

On Friday 15th November we held our spotty bake off in aid of children in need. It was a very successful event and raised over £237!

Year 6 boys football A-team finals

On Tuesday 5th November the boys football A team took part in the finals of their cluster league. After many hard fought matches the boys finished in a very respectable 4th place out of the 22 schools that started. Well done boys!

On Friday 18th October all the children visited St Paul’s Church to view art from local artists, including some from our own children!

Year 5 and 6 girls football

On Tuesday 15th October the year 5 and 6 girls took part in the first leg of their cluster league. The started off slowly losing 2 and drawing 2 but finished well winning their last game. Well done girls and good luck for the second leg!

On Tuesday 8th October the Year 5 and 6 football B team took part in the second leg of their cluster league. They showed great spirit and sportsmanship throughout. Unfortunately the results did not go their way and they did not qualify for the finals! Better Luck next time!
