DfE Coronavirus Update for Parents / Guardians

In line with national Government guidance, Broadfield remains fully open. Pupils should attend as normal if they are well.

If your child is displaying the symptoms of a high temperature or a new and persistent cough please follow the national guidance on the NHS link:    https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

In order to minimise visitors to school parents’ meetings have been cancelled; school trips have also been cancelled for the rest of this term.

We will send home any pupils who develop a high temperature or a new, persistent cough. If we contact you please collect children promptly. Please also keep school informed of your situation if your child becomes unwell.

We are working hard to ensure excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness within school and we are continually monitoring the situation and national guidance.

We will update parents with any change to the situation by letter or text and will post regular updates here on the website.

If you are concerned please seek further information from the following government sources.
